Building Reports, Statistics, Copies of Permits Issued, & Open Records Info
To view building permits issued by the City of Georgetown, please visit www.mygovernmentonline.org
In order to view building permits issued, you create an account. Contact 1-866-957-3764 for support to create your account if you need additional help.
Once you have created your account, you will receive a call from 1-866-957-3764 to activate your account. Please answer and press 1. Once your account is created, select search permits and choose the state, jurisdiction, and project type “permit”
Then you will click on the link: Click here for advanced reporting and bulk downloads
Choose which report you would like to view with permit types and dates.
Current Available Reports:
- Permits Issue Report – This report can be ran by date and broken down by permit type. This report can be exported.
- Monthly Permit Report -This report is a list of permits issued by date. This report can be exported.
If you need more information regarding a specific permit or project (copies of building plans or surveys) an open records request will be required. Open records requests can be completed by clicking here **
Plot Plan or Survey: Most of the time, a survey of your property can be located within the closing papers of our home. (Typically located in the documents received from the title company)
**By ordinance, the City of Georgetown follows the Texas State Library and Archive Commission’s Local Government Retention Schedules (https://www.tsl.texas.gov/slrm/recordspubs/localretention). Once records have been retained for the required amount of time, they are typically destroyed.
